Crafting authentic brand stories

The Maker’s Storytelling Workshop

A live online workshop that guides makers and artisan business owners through the techniques of identifying, crafting, and confidently sharing the stories behind their craft and practice, so that they can connect with their customers to make more sales, and earn a full-time living from their craftwork.

“Many artisans struggle to get their work seen in a crowded marketplace. Sharing your story is a powerful way to elevate your visibility.”

However, not everyone finds it easy to translate their stories to paper or screen.

It can be difficult to express what you want to say, especially if writing is not your thing. Also, sharing your stories is a very personal experience. Doing so can make you feel vulnerable. You fear being judged. That your story is not exciting enough.

We get it and want to show you how to craft and authentically share your own stories because we know how important storytelling is to your marketing strategy as a powerful way to raise your visibility. It helps you to attract customers so that you can sell more of your work to earn a decent living.

IN THIS workshop YOU’LL LEARN…
  • Why storytelling matters
  • The four types of stories to use
  • Setting boundaries to avoid over-sharing
  • Identifying the thread that weaves your stories together
  • The best ways to organise your stories
  • How to infuse your stories with your personality
  • Ways to translate your stories into relevant on-brand copy
  • Authentic storytelling and using AI

Why join us?

We’ve been crafting and telling the stories of makers for over 12 years, and have witnessed first-hand the life-changing, impact storytelling has in transforming a maker’s career.

We want the same for you, because by not producing clear and consistent content your marketing will always be hit-and-miss, costing you visibility, time, customers, and ultimately, the ability to do what you love as a full-time job.

“The stories we choose to share about who we are, what we do, and why we do it can be the difference between someone choosing to spend longer on your platforms versus leaving as soon as they land because your story doesn’t resonate.”
